AIR BOX INSTALLATION
Install the intake boot into the aluminum air box. Remove inventory rubber drain from the inventory air field, and re-mount it on the aluminum air box. Place air field and boot into ATV, clamp boot to carb, using inventory hose clamp. Disconnect starter solenoid from harness leaving positive (purple) cable attached. Unplug the remaining three wires from the harness to utterly remove solenoid. Fish all of the remaining harness and wires by way of the 1 ½ rubber grommet close to the intake boot.
Place the starter solenoid onto the provided bracket riveted to the inside of the field, pointing the studs in the direction of the entrance of the ATV. Rotate the solenoid so it is vertical with the pos. (red) result in the inside of the box. Reconnect the black cable to the solenoid with the boot protecting the bolt. Place zip tie on the boot if necessary to keep from grounding out on the box. Reconnect all wires that have been unplugged; be certain they go back from where you removed them. If you’re unsure, all wires are shade coded.
Take away stock unfavorable battery cable from rear of frame. Transfer as much as the next threaded gap and remount. Fish the other finish of the adverse cable through the ¾” grommet in the air box. Place the battery within the rear right hand nook of the air box with the terminals going through ahead (in its plastic cover). Attach the detrimental battery cable to the negative terminal. Route your brake mild wires by the unfavorable battery cable gap and reattach to harness. Place the fuse holder above the wiring harness and use the equipped 10/32 self tapping screws to mount it to the air box.
