2007 Honda Civic Fog Light Switch Harness Installation Instructions
28. Remove the cover from the trunk lid/gasoline fill door opener (six retaining tabs), and remove one self- tapping screw.
29. Utilizing the ignition key, unlock the opener.
30. Increase the entrance facet of the left front door sill trim (six clips, retaining tab and hook).
31. Remove the footrest. Using a hex wrench, remove the decrease clip from the stud bolt. Utilizing a flat-tip screwdriver, take away the higher clip from the stud bolt.
32. Pull away the weatherstrip from left kick panel and remove the left kick panel (two clips).
33. Remove the driver’s dashboard below cowl (flip the lock knob 90° counterclockwise, and release the two clips and pin).
34. Remove the motive force’s dashboard lower cowl (eight clips).
35. Lower the lean lever and move the steering wheel down and toward you, then return the tilt lever to its authentic position.
36. Cowl the combination swap with a store towel to protect it from damage.
37. Apply masking tape to the instrument panel as shown, and remove the meter panel (one self- tapping screws, 11 clips, and car connectors).
38. At the fuse field, unplug the inexperienced 42-pin connector, the white 34-pin connector and the blue 21-pin connector by pushing the retaining tab and elevating the lock of every connector. On the white 34-pin connector, shut the lock, and remove the quilt by pushing on the end to release the tabs, and sliding the quilt out.
39. Insert the white/purple and blue terminals from the switch harness into the car white 34-pin connector.
40. Reinstall the cover to the white 34-pin connector, then plug all three connectors into the fuse box.
41. Plug the switch harness 6-pin connector into the fuse box on the location shown.
42. Route the single pin terminal from the switch harness down from the fuse box area.
43. Under the fuse field, find and disconnect the automobile 20-pin connector.
44. Slide the retainer from the automobile 20-pin connector outward, and insert the violet terminal from the change harness into the 20-pin connector. Return the retainer and reconnect the 20-pin connector.
45. Route the switch harness relay block above the knee bolster.
46. Plug the relay into the switch harness relay block, then slide the relay block onto the car bracket stay.
47. Take away the vehicle floor bolt and install the switch harness floor terminal utilizing the bottom bolt.
48. Locate the 1-pin connector blue-taped to the car harness. Plug the switch harness 1-pin connector into the car 1-pin connector.
